Walkers spell & go

The Walkers Spell & Go campaign offered consumers the chance to win one of 20,000 seven-night holidays for four to one of 26 worldwide destinations. Codes could be found in promotional packs of Walkers, with each code representing a letter. These letters were collected on the Spell & Go game site.

I was tasked with designing a one-off chance for customers to collect rare letters: the talking poster. This poster was set up in a busy shopping area where members of the public were encouraged to participate for the chance to win letters that could complete any one of their holiday destinations.

I was the creative lead on the digital side of this campaign, creating the digital poster and all of its screens, including a bespoke ‘human’ alphabet. As this campaign relied heavily on social media, I also created several social films. These films were either instructional or contained hidden letters that, if spotted, would win the user that letter.
